about

From 1970 to the present :
I have worked as a freelance illustrator mainly in the editorial area for magazines and newspapers.
My clients over the years have included most of the national newspapers,
especially The Daily Mail, The Observer, The Times and the Sunday Times.

Magazine clients include The Radio Times, New Statesman, New Scientist, Bike, Car & many more.

I have also worked in advertising and for books, including illustrating a number children's storybooks.
Over the last few years I have been doing an increasing amount of children's textbook work,
clients include Macmillan, Cambs.Univ. Press. Pearson Primary, and others.

An important part of my freelance work has been drawing caricatures of famous people.
This led to a great many commissions for drawings of businessmen and women,
mainly for financial and medical magazines.
This in turn resulted in requests for light-hearted caricatures,
to be given as presents to retiring or moving executives.
This expertise I am now offering to the wider general public,
This web site is one of the ways I shall be promoting my services.
